Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich dismissed the calls for greater gun control without disclosing she works for a gun manufacturer, according to reports.

While appearing on Fox News' America's Newsroom on Wednesday, Pavlich criticized President Joe Biden's comments following the Robb Elementary School shooting on Tuesday.

At least 19 young children and two teachers were killed following the shooting at the school in Uvalde, Texas, authorities said. The gunman, identified as Salvador Ramos, 18, was killed by authorities during the incident.

Pavlich suggested that the pro-gun control lobby should be looked into as she said armed officers had been forced out of schools.

"[Biden] blamed the gun lobby. I would say there is an argument to be made that the pro-gun control lobby also should be looked at in the sense there has been a concerted effort over the last two or three years to take armed officers out of schools simply because they have firearms," Pavlich said.

She also argued that there were organizations that could aid school's in their fight against gun violence and mass shootings.

[There are companies] willing and able to train teachers to be ready for an emergency response and to issue deterrents and be on offense rather than on defense in these situations," she said, according to a Media Matters report.

At no point during the segment did Pavlich mention that she had worked for a gun manufacturer.

Volquartsen Firearms, a manufacturer in Iowa, has previously described Pavlich as an ambassador and used her to promote their products.

Pavlich told the NRA in 2017 that "being able to be part of the Volquartsen brand has been such an honor and so much fun. They're a family-owned business from Iowa and you can tell they take pride in the firearms they build," according to the Media Matters report.

President Biden addressed the shooting in a speech on Tuesday and said it was time America stood up to the gun manufacturing industry. Biden also reflected on the frequency of mass shootings in America in his speech.

"It's been 3,448 days—10 years since I stood up at a high school in Connecticut—a grade school in Connecticut, where another gunman massacred 26 people, including 20 first-graders, at Sandy Hook Elementary School," he said.

"Since then, there have been over 900 incidents of gunfire reported on school grounds. Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Santa Fe High School in Texas. Oxford High School in Michigan. The list goes on and on," Biden said. "And the list grows when it includes mass shootings at places like movie theaters, houses of worship, and, as we saw just 10 days ago, at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York."

"I am sick and tired of it. We have to act. And don't tell me we can't have an impact on this carnage," Biden said.
