An NYPD sergeant who was arrested for allegedly shoplifting $360 worth of clothing while off-duty in a Macy's Department Store in Yonkers, New York, flaunted her expensive taste Friday as she appeared in court clutching an expensive designer handbag.
Sergeant Eva Pena was busted by security staff at the store in Cross County Mall after CCTV cameras allegedly caught her trying to steal six items of clothing worth $360 on Tuesday night.
And on Friday morning, the 37-year-old was pictured strutting into Yonkers City Court for her arraignment, dressed in a fashionable ensemble of black high-heels, dark pants and a fitted pink blouse - all while clutching a checker-board Louis Vuitton handbag worth $1,040.
The accused appeared to be in high-spirits as she walked past reporters in the court's parking lot, smiling and laughing as she walked in tandem with her attorney.

The items the officer is accused of stealing included Tommy Hilfiger pants, a lace Guess dress and a beaded Guess shirt.
Pena, who earns $107,898-a-year policing the New York City Housing Authority in the Bronx, was stopped as she left the store at 8.30 pm Tuesday.
The arrest of the 5ft 4ins-tall officer, who joined in 2005, will be all the more embarrassing to the NYPD after she recently posed with police commissioner James O'Neill at a police event.
